«R-esistenza by Gino Covili» is an exhibition in Riomaggiore, taking place from April 12 to June 24, 2025, in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the Liberation.
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a timeless narrative, surrounded by evocative landscapes where everything is deeply connected to the meaning of R-esistenza (Resistance and Existence).
A journey through Liguria, between history, memory, and landscapes, where art engages in dialogue with personal ties and life experiences, enriched by the enchanting setting of the Cinque Terre.
The exhibition will showcase 20 works, including paintings, drawings, and watercolors: 16 pieces from the Racconto Partigiano (Partisan Tale) series, 3 dedicated to the Cinque Terre, and 1 depicting the surrounding territory. This is not a retrospective, but rather an event that highlights the contemporary relevance of the artist.
The 74 days of the exhibition will be enhanced by additional initiatives.
Furthermore, five installations along the Via dell’Amore will guide local communities and international visitors through a mesmerizing path. The unique setting of the Cinque Terre and Gino Covili’s unmistakable art create one of the most fascinating and romantic open-air museums in the world.
